The Vintage Wedding Dress Company

If I was getting married The Vintage Wedding Dress Company is the first place I would head to to get the dress of my dreams.

Owner and founder Charlie Brear has brought together her years of experience in fashion to create this fantastic collection at their London showroom. Charlie has worked alongside leading fashion designers, styling and producing accessories for Matthew Williamson, selling under her own name at Matches, styling models, bands and celebrities.... so you know you are going to be in the most capable of hands! As principal buyer for the company, Charlie sources dresses from London, Paris and across the world; her talent for discovering exquisite pieces is second to none.

"I wanted to take the trepidation and hard work out of finding a unique dress to get married in," says Charlie.

"It is so hard when searching for a vintage dress to know whether you can restore something to its former glory. I buy individual pieces that I love and as a company we provide a service that does just that."

The Vintage Wedding Dress Company holds a rare and diverse selection of gorgeous gowns and accessories from the Victorian era right through to the early 1970s, which are all beautifully cleaned and restored and can be tailored for you to a couture finish.

If you want a vintage look but would like a dress that has not been worn before then the DECADES COLLECTION is perfect for you. It comprises six new vintage-inspired dresses, one from each era from the 1920s through to the 1970s.

"A beautiful capsule collection of gowns each elegantly designed using the details and accents of decades gone by".

The team at The Vintage Wedding Dress Company all come from a fashion background and a private appointment service gives customers the benefit of a professional eye which would normally be reserved for a celebrity clientele. They have an in house fitting service to do any alterations you need, so you know your vintage item will be in the best of hands.

The website and the showroom beautifully curated, we love the section BRIDES showing past brides looking glorious in their vintage gowns, edwardian lace, slinky satins and incedibly beautiful backless numbers, even layering a few delicate, lacy pieces together.

Totally divine! I wouldn't look anywhere else!
