Lovelane Caravans

Here's a really wonderful & quirky idea for all those
looking for a really different wedding venue!
Why not have a 'wedding festival'

At Lovelane, they have a small selection of
classic caravans that have been lovingly restored.
Whilst keeping each as original as possible,
they have been decorated and fitted out in such a way
as to accentuate their individuality and character.

They can be found on the Lizard peninsular in the very
last bit of undiscovered Cornwall! Almost completely
surrounded by water and way off the main route through
to Lands End it has a massive coast line and beautiful empty countryside.
The caravans are set in a horseshoe facing down towards
a big open fire pit that comes to life after dark.
Cotton hammocks are strung from the big trees that line
the field and there is plenty of room for a marquee.
The happy couple and guests can be accommodated in
style and can choose between one of the
classic caravans or their own tent.

Created by the owners Anna & Dan
they say ''its a bit like having a rather stylish
Boutique Hotel room in a fabulous location''

Before The Big Day

A huge Thank You to Georgia, over at the lovely and inspirational blog: Before The Big Day
Georgia has put together a lovely montage of our images to illustrate how they will be spot on for the 2011 Lace Trend thats coming through.

Splendid Stationery
Lace is going to be a huge trend next season, in particular at winter weddings, as the delicate patterns mimic snowflakes. And the good news? It's a seriously easy trend to follow. From dresses to cakes, you'll love the femininity of this fashion. Click here for my previous feature about how to use doilies in your decorations, and check out these heavenly invitations from Hummingbird Cards. The vintage effect is created with a beautiful technique of laser cutting, allowing the artwork to be burnt away from the card leaving a delicate lace-like structure. Stunning!
We shall have a lace mood board coming up in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out!

Time for tea...

Rosie Parsons Photography
Here is a fantastic company that will provide you with beautiful vintage tea cups and crockery, if you fancy a vintage themed wedding party.

Vintage Tea Sets owner Vicky Rowe is passionate about all things 1920's and has an amazing eye for styling and design.

Rosie Parsons Photography
"Some of my most cherished childhood memories are of my Grandmother's tea parties and her beautiful Victorian tea set. When that tea set eventually passed to me it sparked a passionate interest in fine vintage china. Seeking it out from sales and auctions I soon became an avid collector. Combining this with the experience of meticulously planning my own 1920s-themed wedding, with an afternoon tea for the wedding reception, sowed the seeds of what was to become Vintage Tea Sets. Now, stepping out from my previous career as a project manager, I'm devoting my full attention to growing Vintage Tea Sets from an all-consuming hobby into a thriving business. My boundless enthusiasm for the subject is your guarantee of the highest standards of service for your wedding, party or event"

Rosie Parsons Photography
Vicky also sells exquisite handmade cakes...all cakes are made to order with the finest locally-sourced butter, clotted cream and free range eggs.
so it really all could be created for you, without any fuss!!
